A great day with my fellow artists starting on the 'Re-Boot' digital art project in Exeter. We spent the day with Dr Todd Grey, of Exeter University, learning about the history of the 'Lost Parish of St Martins' which includes the site of the recently burned 'Clarence Hotel'. All the buildings in the triangular block of buildings have a fascinating history dating back more than 400 years. Particularly fascinating to me was the history of the Apothecary, built in 1567, and now a Laura Ashley shop.
